Raised in Ismailia among lakes and open gardens, and shaped by his studies in Upper Egypt, his visual language reflects a dialogue between past and present. His relocation to Upstate New York brought a new dimension to his work, merging his Egyptian heritage with the open landscapes of his new environment.
He has participated in numerous art residencies and workshops and has works in various art collections. He lives and works between Cairo and New York, maintaining studios in both cities. In addition to his art practice, he teaches art in Upstate New York, actively engaging with the local and international art scenes.
